Many employers have gift matching programs in place to match donations made by their employees. Double the Donation is a tool that helps make donors aware of when their employer will match a donation and provide what steps they should follow to request the matching gift. If you have a Double the Donation account, you can connect it to EveryAction to increase your gift matching outcomes from contribution forms.

Please note: If you do not have a Double the Donation account, you can still use Employer Matching on our forms through our automatic gift matching integration with CyberGrants. Having both integrations, however, can increase the likelihood of gift matching.

Setting up Double the Donation Integration

To integrate Double the Donation, you will connect your 360MatchPro account to EveryAction. Follow these steps to connect your accounts and set up the integration:

  1. Search in the sidebar menu for Double the Donation Integration.

  2. Click Double the Donation Integration.

  3. Enter your Double the Donation Public key and Private key to verify and connect your account.

  4. Click Verify & Connect.

  5. You will see the Status listed as Enabled when the integration is complete.

Editing your Double the Donation Public and Private keys

If you want to edit your Public key or Private key, click the pencil icon to enter the updated key information. Click Verify & Connect again after entering the new keys.

Turning off Double the Donation Integration

You can easily remove the the Double the Donation integration from your EveryAction account by clicking Disable on the Double the Donation integrations page.

If you disable this integration, you will still be able to add Employer Matching to your contribution forms with our default CyberGrants integration.

Creating Contribution Forms with Employer Matching

Once the Double the Donation integration is set up, you can create your contribution form with the Employer Matching section enabled. Enabling the integration will not change anything until you add it to forms.
