Hello! I am in a unique situation where we have subscribers from multiple different countries, where we know the country but not their full address. I recently tried to use the bulk upload feature to add countries to the individuals where we know their country of residence but received an error message: Missing values in required field MailingCountryCode. I am not sure which Mailing Country Code Every Action uses. Does anyone know if its the two-letter, three-letter or number code so we can update our data and have our contacts be able to be sorted by their country for emailing purposes? Thank you!

Hi all. We’re setting up welcome series automations (and automations in general) in EveryAction for the first time, and every time I think I have the right search criteria and activist code naming conventions figured out, I realize a hang-up that could screw things up. The whole automation process has been stressing me out. So, what do your evergreen saved searches look like for your first time donor welcome series? What criteria are you using to ensure they’re not being targeted more than once, and to avoid hiccups in general? How are you handling removing activist codes that get auto-assigned, and what activist code naming conventions are you using? I’m basically at step 1 still.Thank you!
I scheduled a Contributions Report to run weekly and include all contributions added the prior week. The intention was to send this report to a specific group of people including non-users.The problem with the report is that it needs to be downloaded and not all users will have the ability to log into EveryAction. In our previous system, I used PowerAutomate to create an html table in the body of an email. The flow automatically retrieved the contributions based on the date added, updated the table and emailed it to the list. Can this be replicated in EveryAction using PowerAutomate?
Will there be a recorded link from today's Que Skills lab on best practices for removing duplicate records?
Hello, workflow automation users! As our organization expands our number of automations, we’re finding that there’s a sticky point with automated contacts (i.e. emails) not being recorded on the contact record. While we can pull a report to see who got those emails, it’s not the same as actually seeing “Contacted via email on XX/XX” within the individual’s record. Unfortunately, that’s starting to mess up our sense of contact timing. Are there any good workarounds people have found for that? I’m putting a pinned note at the top of their profile, as well as using an activist code, but there’s still limitations in reporting and CAL since automated emails don’t look like personal contacts. Curious to see if others are bulk uploading once a month, adding additional flags, or have found some setting in automations themselves that I’ve somehow missed!
My organization has about a dozen events each spring and fall that are the same format but have different dates, times, and locations. People sign up through ticketed event forms. We want to send email reminders to registrants prior to the event (preferably 10 days out and 2 days out) and are trying to figure out the most straightforward way to do this. I’ve found two routes that each have their own challenges:Creating a workflow automation that uses a saved search with event (narrowed to the parameters so we’re not getting other event registrants in this flow) start date 10 days out, which will trigger sending an email. We love the set-it-and-monitor-it format of this, but the (major) drawback is that it sends a generic email. In some cases, people are registering almost 2 months in advance, so having them dig back in their emails for event details is a big ask. We can create targeted emails with a template to keep most of the content the same and update the date/time/location specifi
How to report on the field Relationships? I need to create a FY contribution report and add this field “Relationship” so I can acknowledge the gifts properly,
We are very new users (just finishing up the second week) to EveryAction. We just realized that the Source Code showing on Contribution Records and Reports is the lowest level Child Source Code instead the Parent Source Code. So essentially, we can see that someone is a Sponsor but not what Event they sponsored. On the contribution report we can manually add the Source Code Path but that is really annoying to have to do manually every single time. Especially when going directly from a Contact Record. Is there a way that Source Code Path (or even just the Parent Source Code) could be the default showing when viewing a Contact Record and when pulling Contribution Reports? There is already talk among staff to change from the Parent-Child model to just making all Source Codes be hyphenated such as Gala-Ticket, Gala-Sponsor, Gala-Raffle, etc. so that we can easily see on the Contact Record all the information. Of course, this presents problems when trying do other analysis so just making the
Hello, first time user here! I’m trying to create a story collection form that allows people completing the form to upload photos and videos along with their written responses, but I’m not seeing a button or opt in that allows me to do that. Is there some aspect in my settings that I would need to change in order to do this? Is it even possible to have people send in photos along with their written stories/testimonials? Thanks!

Email remains one of the most powerful tools in a nonprofit's communications arsenal—and for good reason. Nearly half of donors cite email as their preferred method of hearing updates and appeals from the organizations they support. That's not changing anytime soon. But the environment email operates in is getting harder to navigate, and organizations that rely on it exclusively are starting to feel it.Over 16% of nonprofit emails either go to spam or never get delivered at all. Inbox providers like Gmail and Microsoft are paying closer attention to whether people open and click—if you're sending to your full list every time, you're training the algorithms to treat you as noise. That means even well-crafted emails from well-intentioned organizations are increasingly fighting just to reach the inbox. The answer isn't to abandon email; it's to stop asking email to do everything.Text messaging is the most direct complement to email outreach available today—and the numbers reflect why. Ope
The enable Confirmed opt-in was used on a signup form, but the visibility of the email opt-in field was hidden. People submitting this form did not receive the triggered confirmation email. They are now marked as Sent-Not Confirmed. I am not able to change their status to pending on their contact record; the box is greyed out.Any idea how I can send these people an opt-in confirmation email? Re-submitting the corrected form doesn’t work.

I am a mostly brand new user to EveryAction. We created a sign-up form to include in a targeted email.I have the Online Activity Report and Report Summary which tells me who filled out the form, but I cannot for the life of me figure out the simple task of finding out who responded what? Our form is collecting availability to scheduling an upcoming convening - what is the most effective way to find responses to a poll question?Thank you in advance!
Would it be possible to have access to a link to the virtual product conference that was a couple of weeks ago?

I have created a Weekly Contribution Report. It looks good except for one thing; all of the Attributions appear in a single column with no indication of Attribution Type.I need to clearly indicate the Fundraiser and if anyone received Soft Credit. By listing all of the Contacts receiving Attributions and Soft Credits I can’t tell who is being credit with what. Is there a way to do any of the following:Filter the column to only include a single Attribution Type Include a second column for Attribution Type Sort the Report into Attribution Type sections? This report is intended to be automatically sent to the CEO, President and entire Development Team.
When we reach out to a donor we us the Note field on the record in order to link it to a follow up, Contact History, and Moves management if there is one created.I dont see an article about this, or if anyone else uses this for this reason.
I am trying to set a cap on the number of attendees who can signup for an event. I set up the Event Type to have a maximum number of event roles but when I create and tested an event with a maximum, I was able to signup more than the maximum through the online form. I was hoping there would be an option to automatically deactivate the form when the maximum signups were reached. I can’t find anything in the event or on the form that manages the cap on the backend to actually stop registration once the maximum is met. Does anyone have insight on how to set it up to stop registration once the maximum is reached?
