Hello! I am writing this message a little out of desperation to see if I can get the attention of someone in Bonterra - because I’ve sent multiple requests to the Billing through Bonterra’s support portal (https://www.bonterratech.com/support), and have also emailed collections@bonterratech.com and responded to the emails we received and have not received a response from anyone through any of these methods in months. Last year, we received two separate invoices for the same service. We paid the first one which was for the correct amount, and explained to Bonterra that the second invoice was an error - since it was for the incorrect amount and we had already paid the annual subscription a few months prior. Someone from Bonterra emailed us and confirmed that the invoice was an error, and that on their end there was no past due amount. That it was a portal issue, and that they would work on fixing it. It’s been months and we are still receiving threatening emails that if we don’t pay in 1

My understanding is that if multiple contacts share the same email, Targeted Email and Send an email in a workflow only sends an email to the contact who most recently had that email address added to their record. If that contact is not included in a saved search for a workflow due to suppressions, e.g. marked as deceased, or their email is marked as unsubscribed, will that mean that no one with that email address will receive an email? Or does it send to the next most recent?

Hi, I need to remove some images from the content library but seem to only be able to edit the images themselves, adding filters, etc. I need to DELETE them or RENAME them “do not use.”Thanks for your brains,Jacki

I’m setting up an event that has a custom question asking which timeslot they’d like to choose. For exampleSession:A B CThe confirmation page would have a different sentence with a unique Zoom link based on that response.Thank you everyone!

Hello!  Is anyone aware of a way to create a custom dashboard that relies on custom reports?  It doesn’t appear to be possible, but I’d love to be sure.  Thanks!

I have been trying to add several grants to different organization profiles and it never works. You can see the ädd button on the profile. See image below.  When I click on the add button, I get an error message and  Error Code [55C6CE-5E9613]  . See image below - Please let me know how to fix this issue. I even sent an email to the help and it has been 5 days no response. This is really limiting my ability to track grants.

Is it possible to set up advocacy forms so that the message to the target must be customized order to submit? The intent is to avoid sending a lot of generic form letters to the official.

A client who is migrating to EA wants to recreate it’s premium gift forms and is frustrated that if a particular premium has different options (for example different colors of the same water bottle, or different sizes of the same tshirt) they need to create a separate premium for each variant that doesn’t work well in terms of the user experience. Apparently the premium gift option in Luminate (from whence they are migrating) doesn’t have this same limitation -- They have a dropdown that gives the option of selecting a tshirt (and from within that choice, a dropdown selecting the specific size) or “thanks, no tshirt”Has anyone encountered an elegant solution or workaround for this issue?Even if it involves a front end dev using Javascript for example?

The basic need is to use bulk upload to add dozens of attributions for one contribution. It seems like it’s probably possible but the article I found on attributions leaves quite a bit to speculation and I’m hoping to avoid a lengthy trial and error process and having someone manually enter 80+ attributions. If you’ve done this and have a sample spreadsheet or some guidance, I’d love to hear from you! Background: We’re a small organization in Alaska, with one really new development person and maximum of one year of experience in EA for the most senior of us. Alaska is notorious for its Permanent Fund Dividend — Alaska residents receive dividend checks every October from a fund seeded by oil money — and several years ago the Pick.Click.Give. program was created, allowing folks to pledge and donate money from their dividend to Alaska nonprofits. Organizations receive the donations as one single check, along with a spreadsheet of the individual donors. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

Hi folks. I saw this morning that there is a new field for “Bonus Gift” on contributions. Is this something we will have the ability to customize on contribution forms? Thanks!

Hello, I am attempting to pull an Online Form Custom Questions Report, which I am familiar with from doing in the past. However, there seem to be some paragraph questions missing from the report, and they don’t show up as Columns that I can add to the output. We have a couple of multiple choice questions prior to the paragraph questions, so my only thought is there might be a limit to the number of custom question data the report can spit out? This data is important to us, so I hope there is a way to pull the answers to those additional questions.

On October 1st, we're making a change to how your community is organized to make life a little easier!Your two existing forums are merging into one: the EveryAction Community. Every post and conversation from both forums is moving over, so nothing you've contributed will be lost. The goal is to build one place for all your questions, discussions, and peer conversations, so it's easier to find what you need and connect with the people who get what you do.What's coming after that:We're also building out dedicated groups for specific industries and regions — think higher education, healthcare, animal welfare, and city-specific groups like NYC and Twin Cities — so you can connect with peers who understand your work and your environment. We'll share more details on groups as they roll out. In the meantime, we'd love to hear what industries or locations you'd like to see? Let us know in the comments!

I keep getting myself confused about using Soft Credits and Attributions so I came here to second check myself. When we receive a contribution from a DAF (such as Goldman Sachs Gives) the correct way to record this is:Assign the Contribution to the contact record for Goldman Sachs Gives.Assign the soft credit to the advising Donor (John Doe) with the attribution type “Donor Advised Fund”Is that correct or do I assign the contribution to John Doe and Goldman Sachs Gives gets the attribution of “Donor Advised Fund”?Thanks for the double check

Is there an Idea Bank or a place to request functionality? For example, I would like to set-up Automatic Soft-Credits. For example, when a specific Donor Advised Fund makes a donation I want to automatically soft credit the advising donor. I have a large number of these types of arrangements. There is a lot of places to forget or miss adding the soft credit. It would be best to automatically set these arrangements up on the records themselves.

I am trying to automate membership assignment using saved searches because membership function does not account for cumulative one-time donations reaching a designated threshold (threshold $500, I gave $300 in January and $200 in April - as of April donation I’m a member).  I’m using Activist codes at moment because Membership looks very complicated to get right.I can add a “membership” activist code - beautifully with a “membership’ saved search as input to a bulk apply.  Now I want to remove the activist code for someone who no longer fits the criteria in my “membership” saved search.  In my mind, the easiest way is to create a new search step 1 everyone with the “membership activist code”, step 2 remove people who who are in “membership saved search”.  I see I can use a Saved List as criteria but not a search.  I’d prefer not to have to recreate the “membership search” in the “remove membership saved search”.Any ideas?  If Membership function is not as scary as I think, any advice?

In the last several months, I’ve received numerous messages from individuals who have always received my organization’s emails saying that they’ve suddenly stopped receiving them (including BOTH of our Executive Directors!!). I can’t figure out why contacts are being unsubscribed without any action on their part and how I can add them back to receiving emails. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I've noticed the Every Action Zoom integration creates a lot of duplicates, even when the name and email are an exact match to an existing Contact Record. Are there any plans to fix this? Or if there is some way we can turn on stricter matching across our organization we would gladly do that too as we'd rather not have more than one contact record per email address anyway. Thank you!

My organization has a donor recognition program with 3 levels based on cumulative donations over the past 12 months or if you have an active recurring donation greater than $50/mo.Does anybody have a similar program, where the donation level is rolling 12 months from the last donation that exceeded the threshold.? Threshold $500, Jan $50 Feb $100 June $350 - membership starts June x for 12 full months.  Or I set up recurring $45 in February with cumulative amount $0, I am still considered a member effective February because I made a commitment. With assistance of Gemini, I have a saved search to identify yesterday’s donation and tests for the 12 month cumulative amount.  Delusional Gemini though I could use Automation to directly update the Membership (that was a no), then it said try custom fields (another no), I’m down to Activist codes but I can’t calculate/track the dates.I know we can track if outside in spreadsheets, but I prefer to leverage the tools we purchased vs working aroun

Hi! I’m troubleshooting an email deliverability question and noticed something weird about the results for my DKIM record. We setup DKIM in 2020 and haven’t changed it since then. But when I went to Targeted Email and clicked Settings, it said my DKIM record has 2 records missing and my DMARC is not passing the check. I checked the CNAME record for my DKIM and it contains this plus the key:ngpweb3._domainkey.raiseheck.comHowever, the Targeted Email Settings says I should have instead:ea1.ea.custdkim.bonterratech.comea2.ea.custdkim.bonterratech.comThere are two maybe conflicting help files that give different instructions for DKIM for EveryAction:This one says ea1 and ea2How do I set up email authentication for my domain? | Bonterra Central CommunityThis one says ngpweb3Troubleshooting: SPF/DKIM setupsWhich is correct? Did something change, and if so, when? Did I miss a notification about changing my CNAME records?

How do others work around the lack of option to offer discount codes in event registration?Do you just make a lot of different forms with different registration costs?

I created a volunteer form through Online Actions for people to request a service from us. I can see on my end that it is set up to send a copy of the confirmation email to two of our staff members, but after attempting multiple tests, it seems like the confirmation goes through to the client but not to us.

Are there still onboarding/training videos available to help new users get up to speed using Every Action? I can’t find anything except articles and remember that I’ve seen videos in the past.

Currently a user can be assigned only one user profile. This forces adding another user profile each time a different combination of access rights is needed for a different organizational role. This is very important when volunteers fill many roles that will shift in responsibilities over time. The ability to assign multiple user profiles would make it possible to define a limited number of sets of rights that can be layered to assemble a wide range of combination of access rights needed to address a range of organizational roles.Without this, each time a user needs access to a different part of EA than others who have similar but not identical responsibilities requires creating a new profile that’s close to the same access as an existing profile but with one or two additional items checked or removed for that one person. Over time, this gets uglier and uglier and creates undue risk that a user will be granted rights they shouldn’t have in order to grant rights they need.

My question is somewhat related to this discussion post about how the system treats records with duplicate emails. We sent a Targeted Email to our full list yesterday, excluding our manual Suppression list. I now want to send that same Targeted Email, only to those emails that didn’t receive the first one.I’m trying to figure out how to accurately pull a list that won’t send folks duplicate emails. For records A and B with the same email address x@gmail, record B was in our Suppression list. Record A, however, still received the email. My initial strategy is to Create a List and remove any records that received yesterday’s email. When I Create a List and remove any contacts that received yesterday’s email, record B is included in that List. So I assume using this list would mean x@gmail gets the email again, since my search relied on whether a record received an email, not whether an email address received an email. Are there any ways that I can re-send this email to our Suppression list
