How do I create a Data Entry Form?

Overview 

 

Data Entry Forms control which fields appear when entering data in Form View, Grid View, or Script View. 

 

Step 1: Open Forms 

 

  • From the EveryAction Home page → Data Entry → Forms 

  • If your menu looks different, use Search for a page to find Forms. 

 

Step 2: Create a new form 

 

  • Select Add New Form. 

  • Enter a Name, Description, and Use Option. 

  • Select Save. 

 

Step 3: Add fields to the form 

 

  • Select fields from the Form Fields Toolbox (left column). 

  • Choose field attributes. 

  • Select Add Elements to Form. 

 

Step 4: Adjust and save 

 

  • Select Show Toolbox to add more fields 

  • Drag fields to the bottom to remove them 

  • Use Add Row or Delete Last Row to resize 

  • Select Save when finished.
