How do I use Grid View to enter data?

Overview 

 

Grid View displays contacts in a spreadsheet-style layout and supports lists up to 100,000 contacts. 

 

Step 1: Open Grid View 

 

  • From the EveryAction Home page → Data Entry → Grid View 

  • If your menu looks different, use Search for a page to find Grid View. 

 

 

Step 2: Choose how to load data 

 

Options may include: 

  • Use My List 
  • Let me enter a List Number 
  • Use Quick Look Up 

 

Step 3: Select script and settings 

 

Choose: 

  • Script 
  • Canvasser 
  • Canvass Date 
  • Contact Method 

Note: If the contact method is not on the script, data cannot be updated. 

 

Step 4: Enter results 

 

  • Select a result from the dropdown for each contact. 

  • Select Save or Next to continue. 

 

Helpful tips 

  • Use the gear icon to adjust settings 

  • Use Mark Remaining Not Home to quickly complete pages
