Can EveryAction handle event confirmation for Zoom events?

I’ve read the Zoom integration article and watched a couple of recorded videos. But they don’t address whether we can send a confirmation email from EveryAction for Zoom events (that would include the URL to join the Zoom meeting/webinar)? It appears that if we link Zoom events to an EveryAction event, we should turn off autoresponders on the Online Actions event signup form and only do confirmations via Zoom?

Hey there! You're absolutely right about how Zoom and EveryAction work together.

When you connect your Zoom events to EveryAction, here's what you need to know:

  • Zoom will handle sending those confirmation emails with the meeting links to your participants 

  • You'll definitely want to turn off those autoresponder emails in EveryAction to avoid confusing your attendees with duplicate messages

  • Don't worry - you can still use all your favorite EveryAction tools to get people registered:

    • Your online forms
    • Bulk uploads
    • The API if you're tech-savvy
    • The Event Scheduler

Here's what I recommend you do:

  1. Set up your event in EveryAction first
  2. Connect it to your Zoom meeting
  3. Let Zoom do its thing with the confirmation emails
  4. Turn off those EveryAction autoresponders

This way, your attendees get just one clear email with everything they need to join!
