Mapping allows the system to apply the correct disclosure information to imported disbursements based on your inputs so you can track and report on the correct information for your campaigns.
Step 1: Access your QuickBooks Disbursements Integration
Navigate to the QuickBooks Disbursements Integration in the Administrative Menu under Integrations.
Step 2: Search for the account you want to map
Locate the account you want to map in either the Unmapped accounts or Not selected accounts section - click the ellipsis (⋯) for the account.
Step 3: Map your account
Next, click Edit payment account mapping and fill in the account mapping fields.
Note: The only required mapping fields are the Designation and Purpose fields – other mapping fields may remain blank if desired.
Step 4: Save your changes
Finally, click Save & Close.
After you map an account, it will be listed under the Mapped Accounts category.
"Unmapping" an account
You can unmap any account that has been previously mapped if you no longer want to import transactions from it.
To unmap an account:
- Click the ellipsis (⋯) for the account you want to unmap.
- Click Unmap payment account.
- Click Unmap payment account in the confirmation dialog.
Note: Unmapping will remove all currently mapped information for the account. The account can be mapped again, but existing mapping data for that account will not be recovered.
"Deselecting" an account
The Deselect payment account option is an alternative to unmapping an account. If you choose to deselect rather than unmap an account, the account will be moved to the Not selected accounts list.
To deselect an account:
- Click the ellipsis (⋯) for the account you want to deselect.
- Click Deselect payment account.
- Click Deselect account in the confirmation dialog.
