If you are transitioning recurring donors (sustainers) to EveryAction, please note that a direct migration is not possible without a paid service. However, you can follow the steps outlined below to transition sustainers effectively and encourage them to re-establish their gifts in your new system.

Steps to Transition Sustainers Without Paid Migration
Step 1: Set up a Recurring Donation Form
Navigate to 'Online Actions' and create a new recurring contribution form in EveryAction. Ensure the form is optimized for ease of use by including clear instructions on how to set up a recurring donation. Provide options for donors to select amounts and frequencies.
Step 2: Notify your donors about the change
Leverage the recurring donor tag you created during onboarding to e-mail your recurring donors, letting them know about the change and how they can re-establish their donation. Be sure to include a link to the new recurring donation form and clear instructions for re-establishing their gift.
Step 3: Leverage automation to follow up
Use EveryAction’s automation feature to send follow-up reminders to donors who have not yet re-established their gifts. Include a decision tree to identify donors who have taken action and exclude them from further reminders.
