After activating an Automation, you can monitor how contacts move through it and use reports to refine your workflow over time.

Step 1: Open the Automation list

  • Start from the EveryAction Home page.

  • In the left-hand navigation, go to:

Engagement → Communication Tools → Workflow Automation

  • If your navigation looks different, use Search for a page and enter Automation.

This page shows all workflows you have access to, along with their status and activity.

Step 2: Review Automation status and activity

From the Automation list page, you can quickly see:

  • Whether the workflow is DraftActive, or Paused

  • How many active contacts are currently in the workflow

  • The total number of contacts who have entered

  • When contacts last entered the workflow

Use the search bar to find a specific Automation.

Step 3: Open the Performance page

Select the workflow name or click the graph icon to open the Performance page.

You can also access Performance from the Workflow Builder using the Performance tab (available after activation).

Step 4: Understand step-level performance

On the Performance page:

  • Decision steps show how many contacts reached the step and the percentage that followed each path

  • Wait steps show how many contacts are currently waiting

  • Action steps display additional performance details when you hover over them

This view gives you a real-time snapshot of how your workflow is functioning.

Step 5: Use Automation reports

You can access two Automation reports from the Report Manager

  • Workflow Steps Report

Shows details for each step, including how many contacts passed through, current counts, and step status.

  • Workflow Contacts Report

Lists all contacts who entered the workflow, when they entered, their current step, and recent activity.

These reports are especially useful for identifying trends and fine-tuning your workflows.
