How do I manage Follow Ups using reports and bulk tools?

Overview 

 

When you need to manage multiple Follow Ups at once, reports and bulk tools help you stay organized and save time. This article explains how to view, filter, and update Follow Ups in bulk.  

 

Step 1: Open the Follow Ups Report 

You can access the report from multiple entry points:  

  • From the homepage, find the Follow Ups card and select View All

  • Or from the Fundraising Management dashboard, select View All on the Follow Ups card. 

When first opened, the report shows Follow Ups assigned to you that are pending for the current week. 

 

Step 2: Filter and customize the report 

Use Edit Filters and Edit Columns to adjust what you see:  

  • Expand the Follow Up Date range (for example, This Month or This Calendar Quarter). 

  • Remove the Follow Up Date filter to include all dates. 

  • Change Followed Up By to view Follow Ups assigned to other users. 

 

Step 3: Update Follow Ups in bulk 

  • Filter the report as needed. 

  • Select Report Actions > Bulk Edit. 

  • Choose Apply New Mappings > Edit Follow Ups. 

  • To complete Follow Ups, set Status to Complete and select a Result.  

Important: Follow Ups marked as Completed cannot be bulk edited or changed later.  

 

Step 4: Use Bulk Upload or Bulk Apply 

  • Use Bulk Upload or Bulk Apply/Bulk Edit. 

  • Select Apply New Mapping > Apply Follow Ups. 

  • If Status > Completed is selected, a Result is required.
