Overview
Once a Follow Up is scheduled, you can update its status directly from the contact record. This article shows how to complete, edit, or cancel an existing Follow Up.
Step 1: Open Follow Ups from the contact record

Open the contact record.

Navigate to the Activity tab.

Select the Follow Up hyperlink.
A window opens with options to manage the Follow Up.
Step 2: Choose how to update the Follow Up
Select one of the following actions:
Complete follow up
- Select a value from the Result dropdown.
- Result options vary depending on your permissions and whether the contact is an Individual/Person or Organization.
Edit follow up
- Update any previously recorded details.
Cancel follow up
- Marks the Follow Up as canceled in the contact history.
