Connection is enabled by Bonterra. Once turned on for your tenant, DonorDrive data syncs into EveryAction automatically (hourly).
Step 1: Request enablement
Contact your Bonterra CSM or Support and request DonorDrive → EveryAction sync for your organization. Provide your DonorDrive instance name, EveryAction Tenant ID, and the Financial Program for gift attribution. These tenant mappings are set by staff and stored securely.
Step 2: Confirm default attribution
Ask your CSM to set default Source Code/Activist Code and Financial Batch behavior for synced contributions, aligned with your organization’s reporting preferences.
Step 3: Bonterra provisions the sync
Bonterra enables your connection in a staff UI and schedules the sync (hourly). The integration uses Snowflake and AWS Glue to transform and upsert data into EveryAction.
Step 4: Verify data is flowing
After the first hourly sync, open Reports > Contribution Reports and Contacts to confirm new DonorDrive records. If data hasn’t appeared, wait for the next cycle or contact Support.
Notes & limits
• One-way sync: DonorDrive → EveryAction. Event management stays in DonorDrive.
• Initial sync scope: Contacts and Contributions (May 14, 2025), expanded to Campaigns, Events, Teams, Recurring Donations, and Refunds (October 17, 2025).
