How do I manage peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns?

Effective management of peer-to-peer campaigns involves monitoring progress, supporting fundraisers, and making strategic adjustments to maximize results. 

 

Step 1: Access your peer-to-peer campaign 

 

  1. Log in to EveryAction 
  2. From the left-hand side bar, click Engagement> Communication Tools> Online Actions   
  3. Or you can use the “Search for a page” field and type “Online Actions”. 
  4. Find your peer-to-peer campaign in the forms list 
  5. Click on the campaign to access management options 

 

Step 2: Monitor campaign progress 

 

  1. From the Online Actions dashboard, view basic metrics for your campaign: 

    Number of fundraisers 

    Number of donors 

    Total amount raised 

    Percentage of goal achieved 

  2. For more detailed information, go to Report Manager and run: 

    The Online Activity Report 

    The Peer-to-Peer Campaign Report 

These reports show fundraiser performance, team statistics, and donor details 

 

Step 3: Support your fundraisers 

 

  1. Communicate regularly with fundraisers: 

    Send encouraging emails when they reach milestones 

    Share fundraising tips and best practices 

    Provide updates on overall campaign progress 

  2. Create resources they can use: 

    Sample social media posts 

    Email templates 

    Images and videos about your cause 

  3. Consider creating a fundraiser toolkit with all these resources 

 

Step 4: Make strategic adjustments 

 

Based on campaign performance, consider: 

  • Extending the campaign deadline if needed 
  • Adjusting the overall fundraising goal 
  • Creating special challenges or matching periods 
  • Highlighting top performers to motivate others 
  • Update campaign content to address any common questions or issues 

 

Step 5: Wrap up and acknowledge success 

 

When the campaign ends: 

  • Send thank-you messages to all fundraisers and donors 
  • Share the final results and impact 
  • Recognize top performers and teams 
  • Gather feedback for future campaigns 
  • Run final reports to analyze what worked well and what could be improved
