Tracking responses to your Online Actions forms helps you understand supporter engagement and measure the success of your digital outreach efforts.

Step 1: View basic metrics on the Dashboard

  1. Open Online Actions from your EveryAction menu.
  2. On the Forms overview, each form displays basic metrics including:
  • Number of views
  • Number of submissions
  • Conversion rate (submissions divided by views)

These metrics provide a quick snapshot of form performance

Step 2: Access the Online Activity Report

  1. From the main EveryAction menu, navigate to Report Manager
  2. Find and select the "Online Activity Report"
  3. Set your date range and other filtering options
  4. Run the report to see detailed information about online engagement

This report shows form submissions broken down by form type, source code, and other attributes

Step 3: Use the Online Forms Comparison Report

  1. From Report Manager, find and select the "Online Forms Comparison Report"
  2. Select the forms you want to compare
  3. Choose your date range
  4. Run the report to see side-by-side performance metrics

This helps identify which forms are performing better than others

Step 4: View responses in individual contact records

  1. Search for a contact in EveryAction
  2. Open their contact record
  3. Navigate to the "Online Actions" section

Here you'll see all the forms they've submitted and their responses

This provides insight into individual supporter engagement

Step 5: Create lists based on form responses

  1. Go to "Create a List" in EveryAction
  2. Select "Online Actions" as a filter category
  3. Choose specific forms or form types to filter by
  4. Add additional criteria as needed
  5. Save your list to target these contacts for follow-up communications

Hi @Happie Pingol, I was wondering whether there was any way to pull a report to see which contacts had customized the body text of an online action — reason being that we think that we could assign more Engagement Points to users who had taken the effort to customize language vs. simply entered their personal information to complete an action. Is this possible? Thank you!

Hey @Maya, Thanks for reaching out. I’ve reached out to an SME to verify whether there’s a way to pull a report that can identify contacts who customized the language of an online action versus those who simply entered their personal information. I’ll follow up once I have more information!

Hello @Happie Pingol, can I get a confirmation or screenshot on which part of the contact record is the “Online Actions” section as stated in step 4? Where we can see the responses someone submitted for a form?  Is that just the Notes section?

Hey @Christian Franklyn! When you are on this contact record, switch over to the all details view. It’s on the bottom of the page: “View all details”

Then, there will be an “Online Forms” drawer that you can open:

Hi @rachel moody ,

Thank you I was able to find it. But on this test record I have I only see the forms they’ve submitted, not their responses. This help article in step 4 says I should see the forms and their response? Did I miss a step somewhere? Just trying to find the quickest way to see what responses someone recorded for an online actions from.

@Christian Franklyn you can only see responses on a contact record level if you map them. Otherwise you can pull an Online Forms Custom Questions report to see all of the responses to the form.
