Overview

Survey Questions help you collect consistent, structured information from supporters using predefined responses such as Yes / No or Somewhat / A lot / Not at all. They are designed for use in outreach, targeting, and reporting—making it easier to analyze supporter feedback at scale.

Survey Questions can be applied to people records, organization records, or both. Each response is stored on the record’s Contact History, which allows responses to be used later for list building and reporting. Because of this, Survey Questions should only be used when the response was collected through direct communication with the contact.

Survey Questions are reusable across cycles and committees (depending on permissions), and they support consistent data collection across many outreach efforts. Responses are multiple choice, and only one response can be applied per question per record. In some cases, adding a new response will override the original response.

To access Survey Questions, start from the EveryAction Home page. Navigate using the left menu and click Tracking & Codes > Survey Questions. Or use the Search for a page field and type Survey Questions. Survey Questions are managed from the Survey Questions area of the system.
