How do I create an Optimized Form in Bonterra Que?
Looking to use Que to create an Optimized Form? Check out this video that walks you through Formbuilder.
Step 1: Open Bonterra Que
From your EveryAction dashboard, click the Ask Que icon to launch the assistant.
Step 2: Request a Donation Form
In the chat, type your request with as much context as possible. The more detail you give—like the campaign purpose, target donor segment, or preferred branding—the more personalized your form will be.
Try prompts like:

“Create a donation form for our 3-day wetlands campaign. Use one-time and monthly ask options and a strong environmental theme.”

“I need a contribution form for our fall clothing drive. Set default ask amounts at $25, $50, and $100, $150, and $200 and emphasize recurring gifts.”
-
“Create a donation form for our year-end giving campaign. Include only a one-time gift option and emphasize impact before December 31. Use cheerful messaging.”
Que will generate a complete donation form draft using best practices and your organization's brand voice.
Step 3: Preview the Form
After processing your request, Que will display a preview of the form — including the title, description, giving options, frequency defaults, and other defaults. You can make edits to these configurations directly in chat. To view the full form, click the expander icon in the inline preview.
Step 4: Edit or Refine the Form
Use natural language prompts in chat to make updates in real-time. You can adjust imagery, donation logic, color palette, or copy.
Try being specific with prompts like:

“Change the tone of the description to be more energetic.”

“I’d like to increase all of the ask amounts to be more appropriate for our high value donors.”
-
“I’d like to change the primary and secondary colors to our branding colors: #1B263B and #7B2C3B.”
You can also switch to manual editing mode in Online Actions if needed.
Step 5: Save or Publish Your Form
Once you're satisfied with your form, it will be auto-saved as a draft in Online Actions and linked to your Que session for easy access later. At this time, publishing must be done from Online Actions.
