Duplicate registrations can cause confusion in your event management. Follow these steps to prevent and resolve duplicate event registrations.
Step 1: Review form submission settings

Navigate to Events > Event Pages

Open your event

Go to the Form tab

Check if "Prevent duplicate submissions" is enabled

Enable this setting if it's currently disabled
Step 2: Check for multiple submission channels

Verify if your event is available through multiple channels (website, email, etc.)

Ensure each channel is properly tracking registrations

Check if attendees might be confused about registration confirmation

Review your confirmation messaging to make it clear when registration is complete
Step 3: Identify and merge duplicates

Go to the Attendees tab for your event

Sort by name, email, or other identifying information

Look for duplicate entries

Use the merge function to combine duplicate records if available
Step 4: Improve confirmation messaging

Go to the Email tab

Review your confirmation email content

Make sure it clearly indicates that registration is complete

Consider adding text like "Your registration is confirmed. There's no need to register again."
