If you haven't asked Que a product support question yet - you may be missing out on getting a comprehensive answer in a fraction of the time.

Email is Still Your Foundation - But Is It Doing All the Work?
by Peter R., Advanced Support Consultant
Email remains one of the most powerful tools in a nonprofit's communications arsenal - and for good reason. Nearly half of donors cite email as their preferred method of hearing updates and appeals from the organizations they support. That's not changing anytime soon. But the environment email operates in is getting harder to navigate, and organizations that rely on it exclusively are starting to feel it.
Over 16% of nonprofit emails either go to spam or never get delivered at all. Inbox providers like Gmail and Microsoft are paying closer attention to whether people open and click—if you're sending to your full list every time, you're training the algorithms to treat you as noise. That means even well-crafted emails from well-intentioned organizations are increasingly fighting just to reach the inbox.
The answer isn't to abandon email; it's to stop asking email to do everything.

WHAT’S NEW IN EVERYACTION
Your Contribution Forms, Streamlined
Building fundraising forms just got easier.
Que's form builder is now accessible directly inside your Online Actions workflow, so you can start creating a Smart Contribution Form (formerly Optimized Contribution Form) where you would typically build a new contribution form.
And, to make things easier to navigate, we've also updated our form names.
The Optimized Contribution Form is now the Smart Contribution Form, and the classic contribution form is now the Custom Contribution Form. Here's the difference:
- Smart Contribution Form: Designed for higher donor conversion. It's now featured prominently in the "Create New Form" menu with a "recommended" label so your team can find it fast.
- Custom Contribution Form: The classic form experience, still available when you need it.
Less clicking around, more doing.

Election Readiness: Scaling and Performance
As the 2026 election cycle draws near, we’ve made several targeted performance improvements to two of our most heavily utilized tools during GOTV operations.
- The Turf List page, used by data staff to manage canvassing turds, has been updated and optimized in how the page queries and paginates data - so it remains responsive under peak load.
- The MiniVAN import pipeline has been consolidated into single batches, reducing system load and speeding up how quickly canvassing data flows back into VAN after field staff submit.

Script ID on Contact Attempts
We’ve closed the gap between a contact attempt and the script delivered during an interation - your Bonterra tools now record which script was used during each canvassing or phone banking contact attempt.
Your platform will automatically log the Script ID on an attempt record when canvassers makes a contact attempt in MiniVAN or VPB - meaning organizations can go beyond just tracking whether contact was made, and understand what messaging was actually delivered and to whom.

Improved Turf Cutter with Auto-Cutter
We’ve added improvements to our auto-cutter within EveryAction and NGP VAN that respects real-world geographic boundaries like highways, rivers, rail lines, and parks - so the turfs that your canvassers receive actually reflect the streets that they’ll be walking.
This improvement generates walkable, deployment-ready turfs in minutes (not hours!) and is available automatically to all My Voters users in EveryAction and NGP VAN - no provisioning required.

EveryAction and OneCause Integration
Customers who use both EveryAction and OneCause can now sync their OneCause event and fundraising data flow automatically into EveryAction - no manual imports or spreadsheet reconciliation required!

WHAT’S COMING TO EVERYACTION
Manage and Minimize Duplicates with Que
In the coming weeks, we'll be introducing a new Duplicate Management skill within EveryAction’s Que that automatically detects potential duplicate records, clearly identifying them to your team - and empowering them to resolve those duplicates quickly and efficiently.
This new tool will involve a nightly detection model that runs in the background, surfacing the results into a dedicated “Duplicate Management” page within EveryAction. From this page, you'll be able to review pairs of potential duplicates side-by-side and either merge them using the existing merge workflow - or dismiss pairs that aren’t actually duplicates.
Mobile Messaging Self-Service Onboarding
Setting up Mobile Messaging is about to get easier.
We're introducing a new self-service flow for Toll-Free number verification, right inside EveryAction. If you have Mobile Messaging but haven't completed verification yet, you'll be able to submit your info, see real-time status updates, and fix and resubmit if needed, all without a support ticket.
Already verified? No action will be needed — this won't affect your current setup.

Set Up for Success: Year-End Data Best Practices with Que
An EveryAction Que Skills Lab
Wednesday, August 26 - 1pm ET
Register here.
Year-end fundraising success starts long before your campaign goes live. To build an effective outreach plan, you need to analyze your past performance and properly segment your list, but building the right queries and pulling the right reports in EveryAction can be tedious and time consuming.
Que can help you do it more easily.
This Skills Lab is built around making segmentation and reporting faster and more efficient, so you can spend less time wrestling with queries and more time planning a year-end campaign that actually works.
This session is part 1 of 2 - in September, we'll build on this foundation with a dedicated session on year-end fundraising strategy, so what you learn here feeds directly into your strongest end-of-year campaign yet.
What We'll Cover:
- Why segmentation is the foundation of meaningful reporting:A grounded look at what imprecise segmentation actually costs your organization — from misread donor trends to misaligned outreach — and why getting this right is the first step toward reports leadership can trust.
- Segmentation best practices in EveryAction: A practical walkthrough of how to build and manage constituent segments in EveryAction: which filters matter most for reporting accuracy, how to avoid common segmentation pitfalls, and how to structure your data for consistency across pulls.
- Building reports that tell the right story: From selecting the right report type to customizing fields and date ranges, we'll cover how to get EveryAction's reporting tools to surface the information you actually need — and how to QA your outputs before they go anywhere.
- Setting up for year-end success: A preview of where we're headed: how the segmentation and reporting habits you build now will directly power your year-end fundraising strategy in our September mini conference.
- Live Q&A: Bring your reporting frustrations and segmentation head-scratchers. We'll work through them together.

WHAT’S NEW IN MOBILIZE
Better VAN Sync Error Handling
Never fear - sync problems between our Mobilize and VAN platforms are now caught even before you’ve finished publishing your event. We’ve made an update where validation happens directly in the event creation form - so any problems surface as you’re building the event, and not afterwards.
Lern more here.
Cookie Consent Banner on Mobilize Pages
We’ve added a new “cookie consent banner,” powered by OneTrust, across all Mobilize pages - including mobilize.us, event pages, and organization feeds. These banners are a part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and trust, and are “geolocation-aware” - meaning the banner will automatically adapt based on what region you are in, and ensuring the correct privacy framework is automatically applied.

WHAT’S COMING TO MOBILIZE
AI Search Assistant
Coming soon, Mobilize will launch an AI-informed search assistant, designed to provider smarter, faster, and more intuitive event discovery. Supporters will soon be able to describe what they’re looking for in plain language - like “phone bank near me this weekend” - and get relevant results instantly.
Waitlist for Event Campaigns
Waitlist is coming soon to event campaigns! When a campaign event fills up, supporters will soon be able to join a waitlist instead of hitting a dead end, mirroring the same experience that’s currently available on other Mobilize events. In addition, hosts will be able to manage campaign-event waitlists directly from their dashboard - meaning no more lost demand on your highest-traffic campaigns.
Volunteer Host Hub Improvements
We’ll be adding improvements to the Volunteer Host Hub discovery experience; expect better filtering options, a visual indicator for admins when a volunteer-hosted event is awaiting review, improved overall content, and a built-in feedback link so users will be able to tell us directly what’s working - and what’s not.
Stronger Protection on Mobilize Forms
We’re adding new layers of protection to our Mobilize forms to keep them even safer and more reliable - such as platform-wide email validation to catch fake or invalid addesses at sign-up, and rate limits to stop mass-registration abuse. These controls will work quietly and efficiently in the background, so yur legitimate supporters won’t notice the difference.
