Advanced Support Consultant Spotlight:
Spring Campaigns, Faster with Bonterra Que
by Torvic V., Senior Manager, Advanced Support Consulting
I’ve started to see some strong and creative usage of Bonterra Que as teams ramp up their spring campaigns.
What stands out is how quickly teams are moving from idea to execution. Instead of drafting, building, and segmenting separately, they’re using Que to do that work directly in EveryAction, then refining from there.

BONTERRA CENTRAL COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Bonterra Central’s EveryAction community, you may be missing out on incredible conversations between our EveryAction users and our team, as we help each other brainstorm solutions to your common, shared questions.
Here's one great example of the Community in action:

WHAT’S NEW IN EVERYACTION
Better Target Your Communications with Que’s Donor Segmentation
Que can now help you generate strategic, ready-to-use donor lists using both built-in DonorTrends models and custom natural language queries. Using powerful predictive analytics, historical giving behavior, and now real-time query interpretation, Que can help build audiences in two exciting ways:
- Through pre-built, model-driven segments (such as lapsed donors or sustainer prospects)
- Through custom segments created from plain-language prompts (like giving behavior, location, activist codes, etc.)
You can now ask Que to “find my lapsed donors who are likely to return,” or “show me donors who gave more than $500 in Rhode Island” - and Que will identify and build those segments in seconds for you.

Build Effective Forms in Seconds Through Que’s Formbuilder Skill
Bonterra Que’s Formbuilder skill makes it faster and easier to launch high-performing donation forms - no cloning, coding, or guesswork required. Instead of navigating dozens of settings, Que generates optimized forms in minutes using built-in best practices.
Whether you're launching a new appeal or building off a saved segment, Formbuilder uses proven best practices to set smart defaults for ask amounts, donation frequency, and messaging.
You can fine-tune the form via the chat interface or jump into the manual editor for full control - and you can easily upload images or scan documents to extract and use your own existing language. All forms are saved to Online Actions, ready to preview, edit, and publish with ease.

Add Dictated Observations to Notes in MiniVAN
We’ve made it even easier to add notes within MiniVAN - so you can capture richer, in-the-moment notes and build a more complete picture of each conversation.
With this update, there’s now a more visible "Add Note" action button that appears after tapping on a contact, giving canvassers a consistent, easy-to-find entry point for adding a note. From there, you can also dictate your observations and save the transcribed note text - making it faster to capture what you’re hearing without breaking your flow.
These changes eliminate clunky workflows and provides an opportunity to capture valuable insights that aren’t necessarily built into an existing data structure.

ICYMI - Updated Access and Credit Use with Que
Earlier this year, we updated how EveryAction users utilize Que within the platform by introducing “credits” that can be used when a Que skill completes work for you.
If you have not purchased Que Intelligence - every user in your organization will recieve a monthly allowance of free credits, which refresh each month (but do not roll over). If you use all of your credits for the month, you can continue using Que when credits reset the following month, or upgrade to the Que Intelligence for full access.
If you’ve already purchased Que Intelligence - you’ve got full access, with no monthly limits and no need to focus on managing your credits. You’ll be able to keep using Que across your workflows without restrictions.

WHAT’S COMING TO EVERYACTION
Coming Soon: A More Secure Login
We’re rolling out a new login experience for EveryAction users next month - giving you a more consistent and secure login experience across your Bonterra tools.
To avoid login issues, you should:
- Confirm your login email, so you know which email address is tied to your account
- Make sure you know your password - or reset it before April 6th (to avoid having to reset it again!)
Please note that while you will now be managing your Bonterra account through the Bonterra Account Center, your account, your data, and your permissions will remain the same - as will the primary login URL you use to access your EveryAction tools.
We’ll be sending additional reminders as we approach this exciting update - so keep an eye on your inbox for further information!
Select Multiple Activist Codes Through Create a List

Next month, we’ll be making a small quality of life change for users on Create a List within the Activist Code page section. We’ll be changing the dropdown options, so that you can select multiple Activist Codes directly from the dropdown list - rather than having to navigate to another page.
By keeping this searching ability within Create a List, you can spend more time building searches, and less time bouncing between pages.
Please note: existing saved searches will not be affected by this change. Editing an existing saved search will populate the new UI with your previously selected Activist Codes.
