Activist Codes and Tags are powerful tools for segmenting contacts. Follow the steps below to include or exclude them in your e-mail campaigns.
Step 1: Filter Contacts by Activist Codes or Tags
From the 'Home' page, click 'Create A New List'. Under 'Activist Codes', select:
- has Activist Code to include specific codes
- does Not Have Activist Code to exclude them
- use the Tags filter (if filtering by tags)
Step 2: Save the Filtered List
Run the list and confirm the filtered contacts. Save the list with an easily recognizable name (e.g., “Volunteers with Code A”).
Step 3: Use the Filter in Campaigns
From your 'Targeted Email' Dashboard, create a new campaign.
For inclusion:
· in 'Select Recipients', select the saved list (e.g., “Volunteers with Code A”)
For exclusion:
· in 'Exclude From Audience', choose the saved list
Step 4: Verify and Send
Preview the final recipient list. Confirm that contacts with the selected Activist Codes or Tags are correctly included or excluded.
