How do I configure social sharing for my Elected Official Lookup Page?

Adding social sharing options can help spread awareness of your lookup tool. 

1. Navigate to the Social step 

   1. After completing the content customization, move to the social configuration section 

2. Configure social metadata 

   1. Set the image that will appear when your page is shared on social networks 

   2. Customize the title and description for social sharing 

   3. Choose compelling content that will encourage clicks 

3. Enable social sharing options 

   1. Turn on Facebook sharing if desired 

   2. Enable Twitter sharing if appropriate for your audience 

   3. Provide default Tweet content that supporters can customize when sharing 

4. Set up a deactivation message (optional) 

   1. Enter text that supporters will see if they follow links to your page after it's deactivated 

   2. This helps provide clarity if you need to take the page down in the future
