How do I customize the content and form fields?

You can personalize the lookup page with custom content and adjust form field labels. 

1. Navigate to the Build Your Online Page section 

   1. After selecting officials, you'll reach the content customization step 

2. Add custom content 

   1. Use the content editor to add text, images, or other elements at the top of the page Consider explaining why finding elected officials is important for your cause 

3. Review form fields 

   1. Note that the system automatically includes necessary form fields based on your official selections: 

      1. Nation-wide and state-wide offices require only the Postal Code field 

      2. Districted offices require both Postal Code and Street Address fields 

4. Customize field labels 

   1. Modify labels as desired (e.g., change "Postal Code" to "ZIP Code") 

   2. Keep labels clear and intuitive for your supporters 

5. Understand field population 

   1. Note that these fields will auto-populate for supporters who have previously submitted your forms 

   2. Fields can also be populated via query string parameters: 

      1. "pc" = Postal Code 

      2. "add1" = Street Address 

   3. Example: www.domain.com/formShortCode?pc=02145&add1=48
