Click-to-Call functionality is accessed through the Configure Advocacy section when creating a new Advocacy Form. This feature must be activated for your account; contact Client Services to confirm availability and pricing details.
Feature Details
Click-to-Call is a powerful advocacy tool that enables your supporters to connect directly with decision-makers through phone calls. Unlike emails or social media posts, phone calls are more difficult for decision-makers to ignore, especially when received in large volumes. The system streamlines the calling process by automatically connecting supporters to their targeted decision-makers after they submit their phone number through your advocacy form.
When a supporter engages with your Click-to-Call campaign, the system first calls them at their provided number. Once they answer, they hear your organization's recorded instructions about what to say during the call. After pressing the star key (*), they're connected to their decision-maker as though they had initiated the call themselves. If multiple targets are selected, the system randomizes the call order, and supporters can press the star key again after completing each call to connect with the next target.

Tracking Your Success
You can monitor the effectiveness of your Click-to-Call campaigns by adding specific metrics to your Advocacy Reports. Key metrics include Call Duration (showing how long supporters spent with each target) and Call Status (displaying outcomes like "completed," "busy," or "invalid number"). For billing purposes, you can add the Billed Click-to-Call Duration column to your Online Activity Report, which tracks the total minutes used, including setup and connection time.
