Getting Started

The Advocacy Report is accessed through Report Manager and provides detailed insights into the reach and effectiveness of your advocacy campaigns. This report captures data for advocacy messages sent through Form/Email, Twitter, or Click-to-Call channels when supporters submit your advocacy forms.

Feature Details

The Advocacy Report displays comprehensive information about message delivery, with each row representing an individual advocacy message. A single supporter's form submission may generate multiple rows in the report depending on how many targets were configured for that form. For instance, if your form targets both senators from a supporter's state, their submission will create two separate advocacy messages in the report.

The report shows delivery information differently based on geographic representation. For example, a Massachusetts resident submitting a form targeting the US Senate will generate two advocacy messages (one for each senator), while a District of Columbia resident won't generate any messages since they lack Senate representation. This structure allows you to accurately track which messages were sent, to whom, and their delivery status.

Tracking Your Success

The Advocacy Report is specifically designed to help you measure the success of your advocacy campaigns by tracking message deliverability. By examining delivery status, channels, types, and attempts, you can identify any delivery issues and assess the overall effectiveness of your advocacy efforts. This data helps you optimize future campaigns and ensure your supporters' voices are being heard by decision-makers.
