How do I include soft credits in Custom Calculated Fields?

Overview

You can configure Custom Calculated Fields to include soft credits and attributions when calculating donation totals and other metrics. 

Step 1: Access Custom Calculated Fields setup 

1. Navigate to Settings > Custom Calculated Fields 

2. Select an existing field to edit or click Add New Field to create one 

Step 2: Include attributions in your calculations 

1. In the field setup, go to the Contribution Details section 

2. Look for the option to select which attribution types to include 

3. Select the specific attribution types you want to include in your calculations 

4. You can select multiple types as needed 

Step 3: Complete the Custom Calculated Field configuration 

1. Set any additional parameters for your field 

2. Save your configuration 

Step 4: Use the Custom Calculated Field 

1. The field will now include the selected attribution types in its calculations 

2. You can use this field in contact lists, reports, and other features that support custom calculated fields
