How do I run a report that uses background processing?

Follow the steps below to run a report that has Background Processing turned on and download the finished file.

Step 1: Run the report

Open the report and run it the same way you always do. Set any filters you need first.

Step 2: Continue your work

You do not need to stay on the page. You can move to another part of Apricot or close the tab. The report keeps running in the background.

Step 3: Wait for the completion notice

When the report is ready, Apricot shows a notice in the app. If email notifications are turned on for you, you will also receive an email.

Step 4: Open or download the finished report

Go back to the report and open or download the completed file. The file is available for 48 hours after the report finishes. Only you can open it.
