Overview

EveryAction is a complete system designed to help nonprofits manage their work. It brings together tools for fundraising, advocacy, communications, and volunteer coordination in one place. The system keeps all your supporter information in a single database, so you can see every interaction with your constituents. Features are organized into simple sections like Contacts, Contributions, Communications, and Administration, making it easy for everyone to use regardless of technical skill. EveryAction is built to be user-friendly while still offering powerful capabilities for organizations of all sizes.

EveryAction is available through your organization's unique web address. To start using the platform, go to your organization's EveryAction site (usually yourorganization.everyaction.com) and type in your username and password. If you're new, check your email for login instructions. After logging in, you'll see a dashboard that gives you quick access to all features and recent activities.

When you log in, you'll see a menu on the left side of your screen with all the main categories. Click any category to see more specific options. The search bar at the top lets you quickly find contacts, donations, or other records. Most pages have additional menu options related to what you're working on. In the top-right corner, you'll find your account settings, help resources, notification options, and logout button. Help buttons throughout the system provide guidance when you need it.

You can track your success in EveryAction using its reporting tools. The Reports section has both ready-made and customizable reports that show fundraising results, email performance, advocacy outcomes, and supporter engagement. Dashboard widgets show your most important numbers right when you log in. The Activity Timeline shows recent actions in the system, which helps administrators see how people are using EveryAction. New users can also access special reports that track progress toward launch goals and data transfer completion.

Understanding these EveryAction basics helps you build a foundation for using the specific features and tools described in the following sections.

Feature Availability

EveryAction features depend on your subscription level. Contact your account representative to find out which features are included in your organization's plan.

I just want to create a subscription form, but no searches provide even a basic overview of how to do things like require specific fields, how to publish the form on the web, etc. Where do I go for the basics?

Hey @ernie braganza! All of our forms are under “online actions” in EveryAction so that could be why the search was off. You are likely looking to build a signup form. To see all the different form types you can build, search for online actions in the left search bar. From there, you will select “create new form” and you can browse through the forms that are available to you so you. Most of the setup is very similar for each form so once you build one the rest will feel a bit simpler.

Here is the whole collection on online action forms: https://community.bonterratech.com/online-actions-20

Here are articles that outlines how to create a standard form:
