Step 1: Check your gateway eligibility
If you created a new Bonterra Payments gateway after February 15, 2024, Apple Pay is already supported. You'll see the Apple Pay option available when creating custom contribution forms.
If your gateway was created before February 15, 2024, contact EA-Help@bonterratech.com to request Apple Pay be added to your gateway.
Step 2: Verify domain (if hosting forms on your website)
If you host or embed custom contribution forms on your own website, you'll need to verify your domain with Apple:
-
In your EveryAction account, search in the Sidebar for Payment Gateways.
-
Locate the Verify Domain button in the upper right.
-
Click the button to start the verification process.
Step 3: Enable Apple Pay on your forms
-
When creating or editing a custom contribution form, navigate to the Basics step.
-
Select your Bonterra Payments gateway that has Apple Pay enabled.
-
The Apple Pay option will be automatically available to donors using compatible devices.
