How do I select fields for analysis in Counts and Crosstabs?

Overview 

Selecting the right fields for your Crosstabs and Columns is essential for meaningful data analysis. 

Step 1: Access the Field Selection Area 

1. After opening Counts and Crosstabs, locate the field selection dropdowns in the Crosstabs and Columns sections 

Step 2: Select Crosstab Fields 

1. Click on the dropdown menus in the Crosstab sections 

2. Choose from available fields like: 

1. Age 

2. Sex 

3. Activist Codes 

4. Survey Questions 

3. You can select multiple Crosstab fields for more detailed analysis 

Step 3: Select Column Fields 

1. Click on the dropdown menu in the Columns section 

2. Select fields to display as columns in your results 

3. Note that geographic regions are only available in Columns, not in Crosstabs 

Step 4: Generate Your Analysis 

1. After selecting all desired fields, click the "Refresh Results" button 

2. Your analysis will appear in a table format below
