How do I access and use the Recruit Volunteers section?

Overview 

The Recruit Volunteers section provides quick access to volunteer lists and common recruitment tasks. 

Step 1: View available volunteer lists 

1. Locate the "Recruit Volunteers" card on the dashboard 

2. Review the pre-selected searches on the left side: 

   1. Active Volunteers (completed a shift in the last 30 days) 

   2. Hot Leads (added in the last 7 days without signing up for a shift) 

   3. Lapsed Volunteers (previously active but no shift in the last 30 days) 

Step 2: Use a pre-selected search 

1. Click on one of the pre-selected searches (e.g., "Active Volunteers") 

2. Review the search description 

3. Choose an action: 

   1. "Load to My List" to work with these contacts 

   2. "Create a Virtual Phone Bank" to set up calls to these volunteers 

   3. "Run Event Participant Report" to generate a report 

Step 3: Access your lists 

1. On the right side of the Recruit Volunteers card, click one of: 

   1. "Create a List" to start a new volunteer list 

   2. "Load a List" to access an existing list 

   3. "My List" to view your current working list
