How do I upload my CSV file? (Step 1) - New Import
(Apricot Administrators)
This is the first of four steps to import records from a CSV file into an Apricot form.
Before you start, check that:
- Your file is saved as .csv (not .xlsx).
- Your file has 50,000 rows or fewer (not counting the header row).
- You are logged in as an Apricot Administrator.
Step 1
In Apricot, select the Administrator tab.
Step 2
In the left navigation, expand Record Manager and select Imports.
Step 3
Select + New Import.
Stepp 4
Drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area, or click inside the area to browse for your file.
Step 5
Apricot reads your file and shows a preview: the filename, row count, column count, a tag for each column header, and the first 5 rows of data.
Step 6
Check that the column headers and sample rows look correct. If something is wrong, select Remove, fix your file, and upload it again.
Step 7
Select Next.
