Introduction
Exporting your audience allows you to use your CRM contact data in external advertising platforms to target your ads effectively.
Step 1: Complete your Digital Ad Plan

Ensure all required information is filled in your plan

Check the review panel to confirm all sections are complete

Make any necessary corrections before proceeding
Step 2: Initiate the export process

Navigate to the review step of your plan

Click "Export & Complete" to prepare your audience list for export
Step 3: Choose contact history options

You'll be asked if you wish to update the Contact History of the records in your list

Select "Yes" if you are directly targeting these specific contacts with your ads

Select "No" if you're using these contacts to create a lookalike audience (since you aren't actually targeting these specific supporters)
Step 4: Customize your export

Click "Customize Export" to configure export options

Choose which contact fields to include in your export

Select the file format that works best with your advertising platform
Step 5: Download and use your export file

After processing, your file will be available under "My Exports"

Download the file

Upload it to your chosen advertising platform following their audience import procedures
