Getting Started
To access Direct Response Plans, open the Direct Response Plans dashboard from the Sidebar, from Main Menu > Fundraising, or from the View All link in the Direct Response section of the Fundraising Dashboard. Once there, click "Create a Plan" in the top right corner to begin creating a new plan.

Direct Response Plans is a comprehensive planning tool that helps you create detailed outreach strategies for Digital Ads, Direct Mail, Telemarketing, or Multichannel campaigns. The system allows you to build structured plans with audience lists, segmentation strategies, and budget projections, all in one centralized location. You can define your target audience using saved searches, create sophisticated segmentation rules, implement conditional ask strings based on giving history, and track budgeted versus projected costs and revenue. The plans can vary in complexity based on the channel, with Direct Mail and Telemarketing plans offering additional segmentation options, while Digital plans focus more on audience definition and tracking. Once complete, plans can be exported for execution and implementation with external vendors or platforms, and the system can automatically update contact records to reflect outreach activities.
