How do I create an Early Intervention Signal in Apricot?

Overview

Ready to have Que watch for participants who may need attention? Start by creating a signal. A signal is the container for your risk and protective factors. Follow these steps.

Before you start: Early Intervention Signals requires Que Intelligence and must be enabled for your site by Bonterra.

Step 1: Open Signals

Go to Workflow Station, then Rules & Alerts, then Signals. You’ll see a new Signals tab next to Rules.

Step 2: Add a new signal

Click Add New Signal.

Step 3: Fill in the basics

  • Signal Name: something descriptive, such as “Engagement & Services” or “Residential Risk Factors.”

  • Tier 1 Form: select which profile or record this signal is about, for example, Participant Profile. This is locked once saved.

  • Look-Back Period: defaults to 30 days. Increase it if your services are less frequent, for example, 60 or 90 days.

Step 4: Save

Click Save to unlock the risk and protective factor configuration. Next, see How do I add risk and protective factors to a signal?

Good to know

The Tier 1 form can’t be changed after you save. If you need a different one, archive or delete the signal and create a new one.

During beta, each site can have up to 3 signals.
