How do I set up notifications for a signal?

Overview

Want the right people to know when a signal fires? Use the Actions section to choose who is notified and how. Follow these steps.

Step 1: Open the Actions section

In your signal, scroll to Actions.

Step 2: Choose a notification type

Select in-app, email, or both.

Step 3: Choose who to notify

Choose from specific users, a user type or role, a site, a program, or, a popular choice, the person who last created or modified the record.

Step 4: Know how notifications are delivered

Notifications are bundled into a single daily digest. It’s one email listing all participants with changes, and each one links directly to the participant’s doc folder, so there’s no flood of messages in anyone’s inbox.
