How do I search for contacts by email subscription status?

You can find contacts based on their email status using Create A List and the Email Address Status Report. Follow the steps below. 

Step 1: Search by email status in Create A List 

Navigate to Create A List from the left-hand sidebar. Open the Email section and use the Status dropdown to search for contacts with a specific email status (Subscribed, Unsubscribed, or Not Subscribed). 

This lets you build lists for targeting, exclusion, or auditing purposes. 

Step 2: Report on email statuses using the Email Address Status Report 

Navigate to Report Manager and run the Email Address Status Report. This report contains one row per email address and includes: 

• Subscription status 

• Unsubscribe method (if applicable) 

• Confirmed Opt-In status 

Use Group By to view counts of email addresses grouped by values like Unsubscribe Method or Subscription Status.
