Getting Started
Financial Batch Manager helps you track contributions in groups, making it easier for your organization's accounting team to reconcile contributions with bank statements or other external records. You can access this feature from the Sidebar by searching for "Financial Batch Manager" or by navigating to Main Menu > Contributions > Financial Batch Manager.
Feature Details
Financial Batch Manager offers different types of batches to organize your financial data. Manual Batches are user-created and designation-specific, allowing you to group related contributions. Daily (Auto-generated) Batches are automatically created for online contributions and recurring commitment payments processed each day. The Unassigned Batch contains contributions entered before Financial Batch Manager was implemented or those not assigned to a specific batch.
Batches can be closed once the expected counts and amounts match the actual figures, preventing further edits to ensure accuracy for accounting reconciliation. This structured approach to contribution management creates clear audit trails and simplifies the reconciliation process between your fundraising and accounting systems.
