How do I use the Upgrade Donors page?

The Upgrade Donors page helps you identify opportunities to increase giving amounts from existing donors. 

Step 1: Open the Upgrade Donors page 

From the Fundraising Optimization Guide landing page, select the "Upgrade Donors" opportunity. 

Step 2: Review the potential impact card 

See how modest increases in upgrader counts and average upgrade amounts affect your bottom line. Adjust these numbers to visualize different scenarios. 

Step 3: Analyze your historical performance graph 

Review the graph showing: 

• Number of upgraders: Donors whose total giving increased compared to the previous year 

• Average upgrade amount: The average increase in giving level 

Step 4: Implement action steps 

Review the suggestions for targeting donors likely to upgrade. With DonorTrends, you can immediately create segmented lists to begin outreach to these groups.
