Overview
Cost Centers help you track financial data by program, department, or project, giving you more granular insights into your organization's activities.
Step 1: Access the Cost Centers list

Click on the Sidebar search feature

Type Cost Center in the search box

Select it from the search results

If you don't see this option, contact Support to enable this feature
Step 2: Add a new Cost Center

On the Cost Centers list page, click Add New Cost Center

Enter a name for the cost center (limited to 30 characters)

Choose a name that clearly identifies the program, department, or project

Add a description that explains the purpose of this cost center

By default, the cost center will be set to Active status
Step 3: Save your new Cost Center

Review the information you've entered

Click Save to create the cost center

Your new Cost Center will now appear in the list and can be applied to source codes
