Overview
Creating a General Ledger Fund helps align your fundraising records with your accounting system's Chart of Accounts, making financial reconciliation easier.
Step 1: Access the General Ledger Funds list

Click on the Sidebar search feature

Type General Ledger Funds in the search box

Select it from the search results

If you don't see this option, contact Support to enable this feature
Step 2: Add a new General Ledger Fund

On the General Ledger Funds list page, click Add New General Ledger Fund

Enter a name for the fund (limited to 30 characters)

Use the same naming convention as your accounting team for easy matching

Add a description that explains the purpose of this fund

By default, the fund will be set to Active status
Step 3: Save your new General Ledger Fund

Review the information you've entered

Click Save to create the fund

Your new General Ledger Fund will now appear in the list and can be applied to source codes
