If you normally log into targetsmartvan.com, and/or are in the District of Columbia/DC, please submit your Early Vote Locations following the required template below to VAN Support for the VAN Data Team to upload them for you.
The column headers must be exact, though without the asterisks, so we recommend downloading our template to make sure you include the correct column names.

The file should contain the following columns, with the exact column headers and in the exact order:

Id*: The location ID.

Source_id: The ID of the source of the data.

County_fips*: County FIPS is a five-digit Federal Information Processing Standards code which uniquely identifies counties in the United States.

LocationName*: The name of the location, such as Burlington City Hall or Cary Library.

State_fips*: State FIPS is a two-digit Federal Information Processing Standards code which uniquely identifies US states.

Schedule: The dates and times the location is open, such as “10/20-10/30: MWF 8a-4 p, TTh 7a-7p, F 10/30 8a-5p, Sat 10/24 10a-1p.” (maximum 200 characters)

Exceptions: Exceptions to schedule, such as holidays or days when the location may have limited hours. E.g. “Friday, October 30th: 8a-5p” (maximum 60 characters)

Notes: Additional notes regarding the early voting location (i.e. “Additional times can be scheduled by calling”) (maximum 200 characters)

Source: The source of the locations, such as the Secretary of State’s office or other election authority.

Date_acquired: The date you acquired the location information.

County_wide: Whether the location is countywide. Put “yes”, “1” or “x” if true, null/empty if false.
