Linking pledges to grants 

Pledges help track promised commitments or disbursements once a grant has been awarded. 

 

Step 1: Access the Applied Pledges section 

  1. On the Edit Grant details page, locate the Applied Pledges section on the left side 

  1. Click "Find Pledge" to link an existing pledge or "Add New Pledge" to create one 

Step 2: Create or select a pledge 

  1. If creating a new pledge, enter the following details: 

  1. Designation 

  1. Pledge date 

  1. Pledged amount 

  1. Source code 

  1. Select whether it's a lump sum or multiple payments 

  1. Ensure you select the "To Give" option for the plan 

  1. Note: The other information is not used on grant plans 

Step 3: Complete the process 

  1. After entering pledge information, click the appropriate button to save 

  1. Your pledge will now appear in the Applied Pledges section of the grant plan
