Searching and reporting on grants

Effective reporting helps you track progress across your entire grants program.

Step 1: Create custom searches

  1. Navigate to "Create a List"

  1. Use any grant details as search criteria

  1. Build queries based on grant type, status, amount, or other specific fields

Step 2: Access grant reports

  1. For individual grants:

    1. View the Summary Bar on the Grant details page for key data points

  2. For the overall grants program:

    1. Use the Grants Report to track progress across all grants

Step 3: Customize reports with deliverables information

  1. Add columns to show:

    1. Last deliverable date

    2. Next deliverable date

    3. Other deliverable information

  2. This helps track where you are in the process for each grant

Step 4: Use additional reporting options

  1. Filter the Follow Up Report:

    1. Use Action Plan Details > Action Plan Type to find grant-related follow-ups

    2. Filter by Action Plan Details > Grant Deliverable Type for specific process points

  2. Group reports:

    1. Use Group by > Action Plan Type on follow-ups or pledges reports

    2. This identifies items associated with your grants
