Overview
After setting up your membership program in EveryAction, you can view and update records to effectively manage your program with a custom membership structure and flow. EveryAction provides tools to enter or edit individual membership details manually, use Bulk Upload or Bulk Apply to edit several records at once, and link specific contributions as dues for membership.
The system displays membership status information directly on contact records, making it easy to identify active, lapsed, renewed, dropped, or canceled memberships at a glance. This membership information appears in different locations depending on whether you're using the All Details view or the Contact Record view.
Getting Started
To access membership information for a contact, you can view it in either the contact header (All Details view) or in the Planning and Insights column (Contact Record view). In the Contact Record view, click the arrow to open the drawer and view additional details about the contact's current or most recent membership as well as a summary of their membership history with your organization.
Feature Details
EveryAction tracks several important membership statuses, including:

Active: When the current date falls between the contact's Join Date and Expire Date

Lapsed: When the current date falls between the Expire Date and the end of the Renewal Window

Renewed: When the current date falls between the start and end of the Renewal Window and a new membership record is added

Dropped: When the current date is later than the Renewal Window

Canceled: When membership has been manually canceled by your organization
The system also tracks enrollment types (Rejoin, Renewal, New) and membership changes (Upgrade, Downgrade, No Change), providing comprehensive information about how members move through your program.
You can manually add members, link specific contributions as dues payments, edit membership details, or end/delete memberships as needed. For managing multiple records at once, EveryAction provides Bulk Apply and Bulk Upload features to efficiently update membership information for groups of contacts.
