Follow these steps to select the contacts who will receive your Mobile Messaging broadcast.
Step 1: Start Your Message

Go to Engagement in the left-hand sidebar

Select Mobile Messaging

Choose Create new, Broadcast message
Step 2: Choose a Saved List or Search
Mobile Messaging uses contacts from My List.

Choose a Saved List or Search from My Folders
Only contacts who have opted in to receive text messages can be texted.
Step 3: Exclude Contacts (Optional)
If needed:

Use Exclude a Saved List or Search to remove contacts from your audience
This is useful if you want to exclude a specific group.
Step 4: Calculate Recipients

Select Calculate recipients

Review the Recipient Summary

Select View More to see how totals were calculated
If multiple contacts share one phone number, only one contact will receive the message.
If you make changes to your list, select Recalculate recipients to update totals.
