FastAction profiles store supporter information to pre-fill forms across the EveryAction network. Managing these profiles helps supporters control their information and improves their form experience.
Step 1: Access the FastAction profile
- Supporters can access their FastAction profile in two ways:
From any form with FastAction enabled, click the "Manage your FastAction profile" link
Go directly to fastaction.com and click "Sign In"
- They'll need to enter the email address associated with their profile
- They'll receive a confirmation email with a link to access their profile
Step 2: View and edit profile information
- Once signed in, supporters can view all information stored in their profile:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Mailing address
Payment information (if saved)
- To edit any information, click the "Edit" button next to that section
- Make the desired changes and click "Save"
Step 3: Manage privacy settings
- In the FastAction profile, supporters can control their privacy settings
- They can choose which information to save and which to exclude
- They can opt to save payment information for faster donations
- They can control which organizations can access their saved information
- These settings help supporters balance convenience with privacy
Step 4: Delete a FastAction profile
- If a supporter wants to remove their information completely:
Sign in to their FastAction profile
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Click "Delete my FastAction profile"
- Confirm the deletion
- This will remove all their stored information from the FastAction system
Step 5: Help supporters with FastAction
- Explain to supporters that FastAction is secure and encrypted
- Highlight that FastAction works across all organizations using EveryAction
- Emphasize that supporters have complete control over their information
- Consider adding FastAction information to your privacy policy
- Provide support contact information for FastAction questions
