Apricot: Import improvements, data standards updates, and bug fixes
Release Notes | Week of July 27 | Apricot 8.59.0
Overview
This release includes improvements to the Imports tool and Data Standards, with cleaner file naming for CSV exports, a more focused form selection experience, and updated non-reportable field labeling. It also includes several targeted fixes for referrals, intake forms, and user role configuration.
Enhancements
Imports | Consistent CSV export file naming
The success export CSV now uses the same file naming format as the errors and skipped files, making it easier to identify and organize your export files. Exported records also reflect corrected field values rather than the original uploaded values, so what you download matches what was actually imported.
Imports | Cleaner form selection experience
System forms no longer appear in the form browser when selecting a form for participant data import, keeping the list focused on the forms that are actually available to you. Form IDs now display consistently as "Form ID [ID]" across the form browser, form list, and form details modal.
Data standards | Updated non-reportable field labeling
The non-reportable field indicator has been updated for clarity. The checkbox label now reads "Non-reportable" and the field label has been shortened to "NR." There are no changes to how the field works or how it behaves in the API.
Fixes
Referrals | Create referral button unresponsive in document folder
Clicking "Create Referral" from within a participant's document folder previously produced no action. The button now correctly opens the referral creation workflow.
Intake forms | Required currency field validation
Required currency fields on Intake forms were allowing submission when left at $0.00, causing the submission to fail without displaying an error. Validation now correctly prevents submission and shows an error when a required currency field is empty or set to $0.00.
Roles | Programs missing from referral section
Programs with Send Referrals and/or Receive Referrals enabled were not appearing in the Referrals section of user roles, making it impossible to configure referral permissions for those programs. All eligible programs now display correctly.
Security updates
This release includes security updates across multiple platform components. These updates are applied automatically and require no action from you or your administrators.
