Getting Started

After installing the integration package, you'll need to set up rules to determine which data should be shared between EveryAction/Bonterra CRM and Salesforce.

Step 1: Access the integration settings

  1. Log in to Salesforce

  1. Navigate to the EveryAction/Bonterra CRM integration app

  1. Select "Configuration" or "Sync Settings" (exact name may vary based on version)

Step 2: Define which objects to synchronize

  1. Review the list of available objects that can be synchronized (contacts, donations, campaigns, etc.)

  1. Select which object types you want to share between systems

  1. For each object type, specify whether sharing should be one-way or bi-directional

  1. Save your object selection settings

Step 3: Configure field mapping

  1. For each synchronized object, define which fields should map to each other

  1. Determine how conflicts should be handled (which system takes precedence)

  1. Set up any data transformation rules if needed

  1. Save your field mapping configuration

Step 4: Set synchronization schedule

  1. Define how often data should be synchronized between systems

  1. Choose between real-time updates or scheduled batch synchronization

  1. Set up any notification preferences for sync failures

  1. Activate your synchronization settings
