Overview

Identifying which supporters are actively sharing your forms helps you recognize and engage with your most valuable advocates and volunteer recruiters.

Step 1: Access the list creation tool

  1. Navigate to your contacts or lists section

  1. Select Create A List to start a new search

Step 2: Use the Online Action Referrers search criteria

  1. Locate the Online Action Referrers section in the search criteria

  1. Expand this section to view the available fields

Step 3: Search using referrer criteria

  1. Choose from several available search options:

  1. Number of Referred Actions: Find supporters who have generated a specific number of actions

  1. Referred Form Type: Filter by supporters who've generated specific types of actions (donations, petitions, event RSVPs, etc.)

  1. Referred Form Name: Find supporters who've shared a specific form

  1. Referred Through: See which sharing method (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) was used

  1. Date Range: Find supporters who shared forms during a specific time period

Step 4: Set specific parameters for your search

  1. Configure each search field with appropriate values

  1. For example, to find your most active referrers, set Number of Referred Actions to be greater than a certain threshold

  1. Combine multiple criteria to create highly targeted lists

Step 5: Save and use your list

  1. Run your search to generate a list of supporters who are sharing your forms

  1. Save your search criteria if you want to run this list again in the future

  1. Use this list to recognize top sharers, create special engagement opportunities, or develop an advocate program
