How do I search for contacts who used shared links?
Overview
Once you've implemented referrer tracking, you can create targeted lists of supporters who acted through shared links to better understand referral patterns.
Step 1: Access the list creation tool

Navigate to your contacts or lists section

Select Create A List to start a new search
Step 2: Use the Online Forms search criteria

Locate the Online Forms section in the search criteria

Expand this section to view the available fields
Step 3: Search using referral criteria

To find contacts who took action through shared links, use these fields:

Referred By: Search for contacts referred by a specific supporter

Referred Through: Find contacts who used links shared via specific channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Set your search parameters based on which referred contacts you want to find
Step 4: Add additional search criteria (optional)

Narrow your search with additional criteria such as:

Form Name: Focus on specific campaigns or actions

Date Range: Find referrals within a specific time period

Form Type: Search for referrals to specific form types (petitions, donations, etc.)
Step 5: Save and use your list

Run your search to generate a list of contacts who used shared links

Save your search criteria if you want to run this list again in the future
